If you were designing a diet/fitness/healthy lifestyle plan, what would the rules be, and why? Which healthy habits have helped you make the most progress? On an ongoing plan, would you introduce certain steps before others? Is there a rule that everyone should follow? Do youactually follow your rules?

This is just for fun. Of course it's always a matter of finding your own way. I'm just curious about how you all help yourselves every day.
