Daily Check-in: Monday, June 11th

Hello Blenders!

How are you all doing today? Ready to start the week off strong, I hope?

So I got my upper body workout done yesterday (added a 10 minute ab workout too); so today I think I'm gonna do a shorter lower body workout. Probably this one:

What do you all have planned for today? Working out, or resting?

I think my husband and I *finally* got caught up on a few things around the house (chickens are good, dogs are good, garden is done, yard work is done for now, and house is mostly clean), and it feels good. It took a lot of extra work to get things done last week, but I'm glad we crammed it all into a few days so we don't have to worry about it for a bit. So now it's time to enjoy hanging out with dogs and chickens, playing in the garden, and not worrying about the yard or house! Whoo hoo lol.

So we had salmon and sweet potatoes (with peas) for dinner last night. On the menu for tonight: sloppy joes! I use this recipe, just subbing ground venison for the beef, and adding shredded carrots and minced celery to it too:

Probably serve it with a salad also. I might even get ambitious and make homemade buns, but we'll see!
