Question, pls help ^^

So I have finished 2 rounds of FBfit round 2, gained strength, and I can feel the newly built muscles. But I have not lost much/any fat, which I know due to the scale and the pictures I took of myself before and after. And it is not much of a surprise because the workouts made me feel extremely tired, sluggish and hungry, so I assume that there was no caloric deficit required.

Soo basically my question is - could it be that the program was too hard for me? Or - what should I do? I was thinking of switching to pilates, but I like strength training so I don't rly want to ^^

I am not a binge eater, never was, but I do feel like the long workouts, especially lifting, were draining me so much I had to eat 3x more than I usually would after working out.
