Smart scales?

I'm not a huge fan of scales, but I have scales and I weigh myself occasionally. Now that I've started a workout habit, I remembered my scales are so called 'smart scales' and it might be interesting to track my progress in terms of fat and muscle percentage. The fat percentage turned out to be 'overweight' and the muscle was on the high side of 'average'.

This shocked me a bit, because I don't look overweight, I barely look chubby (well, I don't look toned and I have a bit of a belly and an outspoken pear shape) and I didn't feel like I had a lot of muscle (well, I mean, I'd never think it would be on the higher side).

My question is: what do you guys think about smart scales? Do you use it to track your progress? Are the results accurate? I would never only trust scales, since I have eyes and a mirror, but it might be helpful in a way.
