Transitioning to gluten-free and its effects

So..I've transitioned to a gluten free diet as advised by a medical professional I've been seeing. It's been about 2.5 weeks. I did not test positive for celiac disease, but I test as having a moderate allergic response to gliadin, a component of gluten. Thought to share some results.

1. My digestion was..compromised at first. Started taking a probiotic and it cleared up pretty quickly, but it was uncomfortable for awhile.

2. SO MUCH MORE ENERGY. I've had so much trouble sticking to a workout program because I would be so fatigued. I recently finished up week 1 of FB Sweat and am excited to tackle the second week! No more debilitating fatigue!

3. Increased my good fat intake, and boy, it really does help alleviate cravings for junk. More nut butters and avocados!

4. It's not easy. GF products, especially bread products, just don't offer the satisfaction of real bread. While I don't suffer from bloating like before, I also don't feel particularly full. Not empty, but not full.

Hope someone out there found this helpful!
