working out after a weekend trip

I've just finished a HIIT workout after coming back yesterday from a weekend trip. I ate all my meals at restaurants there and I ate too many carbs and sugars for sure. Today I noticed I ran out of breath much quicker than I did before my trip, even though the difficulty of the workout was the same as always. Do you think the bad food I ate could be related to my fatigue today?
