Lower back pain during workouts :(

Hello! I would just like to know if some of you also experience lower back pain when doing ab workouts (particularly crunches and flutterkicks)? I try to keep my lower back on the floor when I'm doing ab workouts, but it's still painful after about 5 reps. I also experience pain when I'm doing deadlifts, or if I've been doing a lot of lunges.

Btw, I've been working out on and off for about a year and I'm around 158 lbs. I'm not sure if I'm just too heavy and therefore putting too much strain on my back. What can help me reduce this pain? Thanks in advance!
