Find an APP to find similar food (makeup and kcal content) as a substitute

I just bought the Vegan Mealplan. And sometimes I want to replace some foods with others, in the mealplan I found the following sentence:

For example, if you know the rough macronutrient (carbs, proteins, and fats) ratio of a food, you can find a food of a similar makeup and calorie content as a substitute. There are many different free apps and online programs that can do this work for you.
