Is it wrong to ignore the scale?

Hello, I just have a quick question. I have been watching my weight since I started FB30 (Im on day 11), and it seems like I haven't lost a single ounce of weight. However, my clothes fit better and I have more flexibility than when I started. So i am choosing to ignore the scale for a while. My partner said that I may not be losing weight but turning the fat into muscles (which is a good thing, I suppose) but I am not sure if such a statement is backed by science. According to my doctor, I do need to lose about 15-20kg and I think I can do that before the year ends. But is it wrong for me to ignore the scale for now, and focus on my lifestyle changes and daily exercises?

I just want to know that I am not doing the wrong thing by ignoring the scale at this point.
