Question re: European alternatives to Powerblocks AND watching an eBay offer, please keep your fingers crossed

so, first off, it might be tactically very stupid to alert The Internet on this but I have my eyes on an eBay auction of Powerblocks and I do hope I get a chance to get them for an affordable price. These babies cost easily twice as much overseas as they do in the US and this might just be my chance.
Other than that - does anyone have recommendations on DialTech, Bowflex and whatever they're called? Any ideas which one might be better than the other? *sigh*
