Can you still lose weight without a calorie deficit?

Hi everyone, was just wondering if you can still lose weight without a calorie deficit? I eat well every day, exercise 5 times a week and eat around 1,700 - 1,900 calories a day, depending on how active I am. Yet people are telling me to lose weight I need to cut some calories. What's everyone's opinion on this? Can I still lose weight without doing this or will I just be maintaining my weight? Thanks in advance :)
