Good Saturday morning!

I was awake for a couple of hours during the night, but I managed to fall back asleep until 6am. I never stay in bed that late.

We have a busy day ahead. We’ll be going out for breakfast, because we’ve managed to run out of food at home. We’ll then go grocery shopping, of course.

Bilbo will have his second primary school class before lunchtime. He’s still scared of other dogs, even the ones he’s been seeing every Saturday for 6 weeks now. We’re trying gentle coaxing with treats, but not forcing anything.

Then right after lunch, I’ll pick my dad and brother up to come to our house, to celebrate my father’s 85th birthday. It was yesterday, but we couldn’t do it after work. We’ll pick up a cake while we’re out grocery shopping. Both my dad and David suffer from diabetes, but they can have a small piece of cake.

And when the sun goes down, we’ll go for a drive to look at Halloween decorations. See below a picture from our neighbour’s front yard down our street. And then we’ll end the day with movie night. I wonder if I’ll be able to stay awake…

This wasn’t the best of week for a few of us, so I wish us all a wonderful weekend 🙂
