HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group September 26th

Good last September Saturday! I swear this month has been a blur.

I’m sorry for not posting again since Tuesday. It’s taken me all of this time to recuperate from the two-day off-site meeting that I attended. I hate that it takes me so long to recover from these types of events. I’m trying to accept that this is just how I am, needing time to recharge.

I’m also working on accepting that I have to take a step back in order to move forward. I just do not have the physical and mental capacity at the moment to continue with FB challenges or programs. So I am focusing on basics again: eating on plan, drinking 2L of water per day, doing PT exercises for my Achille’s tendon, and going on short walks with David and Bilbo after supper. If I can hit those goals each day, I will be satisfied.

So what have you planned for this last weekend in September? We’ll do our usual Saturday morning grocery run and then we’ll watch the women’s UCI Road World Championships race, which will go through an area about 15 minutes away from our house. We’ll avoir road closures and crowds and just watch it on tv.

Then, Bilbo will attend another kindergarten class. We’re really hoping that seeing the same dogs week after week will bring him out of his shell. The vet was happy with his progress yesterday.

We’ll catch up on series this afternoon and it will be my choice of movie tonight. We’ll see if I can manage to stay awake to watch one.

Looking forward to reading about your plans for the day. Wishing everyone a great day 🙂
