Book recommendation: "Organ Speak What it really means to listen to our bodies"
Hi everyone,
this past weekend I attended a panel discussion at a conference. This was a business event for translators and the panelists were the author and two of her translators.
Anyway - the author was beyond charming and the book sounded really interesting so I got it as an audio book and started listening to it on my way home.
IT IS SO GOOD.
The author is Giulia Enders and the book is called:
Organ Speak
What it really means to listen to our bodies
And I think the subtitle probably explains why I'm sharing this with you. ☺
Giulia s a medical practitioner at a hospital in Hamburg, Germany. She does an incredibly good job explaing how everything works together, offering great perspectives on the physicality of our being ourselves. She is a great story teller (she even narrated the German version of the audio book herself) and has a unique talent of explaing Life.
I'd say the book is interesting for everyone but especially those who'd like to know more about auto-immune disease and, well, how to maintain this temple of a body we're living in.
Plus, even the audio book version comes with 30 pages of sources so it's a treasure of research, too.
