I follow this site that posts disappointing affirmations. They have some “language” as my mother would say, but always make me laugh. This one caught my attention today as both my kids are in the throes of young adulthood–both are looking for jobs and the younger one is also moving into a new apartment.
So today’s question: When did you feel like an adult? For me, after freshman year of college I did summer missions and taught at a church day camp for the summer. I was on the West Coast in the US (very different culture than the Southeast) and away from home longer than I had ever been, and did not have a car or access to one. I learned a lot and by the time I got home I felt like I could manage my day to life. There were still plenty of bumps in the road, but that was definitely my first big step.
And now, what’s the workout looking like today? Anyone still working on 30 in 30? I’ll be in the pool later this afternoon to do some aquablender resistance training.

Hi all and Happy Sunday!

Hoping everyone has a great day!
