Good first morning in September!
What kind of month from the list above would you like to have? I want a start-fresh September and a Serenity September. But August ended on a sour note, which will carry into this month unfortunately.
David called me from work yesterday to tell me that a resident at the place where he works damaged our car while trying to park hers. We just spent 2500$ on car repairs and now this happens. I will go to a body shop today to have an estimate for the repairs and the resident says she may give us the money instead of going through our respective insurers, as both of our rates would go up if we file a claim. But if it’s more expensive than she anticipates, we might not have a choice. We really didn’t need this right now (sigh). Serenity September can’t start soon enough for me.
For start-fresh September, I plan to go walking today, and to continue FB Anywhere. I didn’t walk much at all in August, dealing with some negative self-image issues that made me not want to be outside much. Still dealing with negative thoughts, but trying to move past them.
I have to meet one of the new District Managers that I will be working with this morning. I have a list of things to go through with him, to make sure he’s all set up and ready to go. And I’m counting down the hours until Friday 1pm, when I will start a one-week staycation.
