Hi Blendfriends!

How is it going in your part of the world?

My question today is how do you stop your mind from going off the deep end? My example is this: I had an appointment last week for my 6 month examination. She said she would call next Wednesday with results. Fine. I missed a call on Monday and there was no message and no call back. My brain immediately went to crisis mode. The results are bad, something is wrong. I was sick to my stomach, couldn't function. Why do I do this? I do not want to. Anyways, she did not call yesterday, so I am trying to tell myself it must not be an emergency. Maybe she just had time mOnday and the results were in. Who knows. I still have felt anxious since Monday. It threw me off completely. So, how do you manage in situations like this? I am sure it is all easier said than done.

Does anyone know about the Biowetter? Is that a thing? I just learned about it this week. It is a little bit kooky, but maybe it makes sense?

I hit the gym this morning and focused on legs with a dash of arms and a sprinkle of core. It is supposed to be a lovely late summer day, so maybe I can get a walk in after work as well.

Dinner is something from last week, this middle eastern inspired ratatouile. I think this time with boiled potatoes since we have a big sack.

Share your thoughts, they are welcome here!

And yea, believe in yourself, even if it is only for 5 minutes.
