I hope you are all having a good day. It is still hot here and the forecast is for 93 F with heat index 103. but that is to be expected in August.
Yesterday is was cool enough to go to the farmer's market and take a walk. I went to the smaller market which has more of a country setting and took a nice walk along a creek. I picked up some cucumbers. And of course there is a nice coffee shop to sit and have coffee with a friend.
Yesterday my afternoon was spent finalizing the purchase of a new microwave, I miss my microwave and the clock. I have any above the range microwave so I went with the store that had the best reputation for instillation.
Now on to today. Later this afternoon I am going with my church group to serve dinner at a local shelter. I am the only coordinator that is in town so I am in charge so to speak. That means I need to stop by the church around 12:30 take inventory and shop for any missing items. The sign up sheet is full so I don't expect to need to do any shopping except for what I signed up to bring. A good crew signed up to help so I am expected things to go smoothly.
I am taking a rest day from the new FB 30 in 30 and will get back to it Monday.
So how is your weekend going? Made any purchases for you home recently? What are you exercise plans. Maybe you are resting like me,
PS my new microwave will have a turntable, my old one didn't so I am hoping I won't have any problems when reheating coffee 😅
