A quick post for me because it’s late and I forgot what day of the week it was.
Photo is of my husband glass blowing, but as the instructor said it’s more glass twirling with very little blowing. I didn’t participate because my hands and wrists weren’t up to twirling. The molten glass is like honey. It makes me think of the molten core of the earth or dragon fire. The temperatures are upwards of 2000 degrees. I stood in front of the oven where the molten glass is kept, mesmerizing. I almost felt the heat more as I stepped away from the furnace because I felt the contrast with the normal air.
How is everyone? Food? Fun? Fitness? Frenzy? Friends?
I look forward to hearing from you. All are welcome and old friends are missed.
