HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group July 22nd
Hi Blendfriends!
How is everyone?
We arrived back on Monday morning and are still getting life back in order. I did make it to the gym this morning. I tried to take it easy/not be too intense.
Our trip back to Canada was great for the most part. The first week was filled with beautiful weather, playing tennis a few times, fishing, swimming, going to camp, and eating all the things. The rest of the trip was blanketed by heavy smoke, causing our outdoor activities to be cancelled. I know many people who lost their family camps. The fires have been devastating. Wiping ash off the cars before you get in, not seeing the next street light, or houses across the street. It was bad.
It did manage to drop a few raindrops, naturally, when we were having my grandmother's burial. But we were in good spirits. We had a nice family dinner after. I was lucky to get a beautiful locket of hers that contains photos of my grandfather. There is a beautiful portrait of her wearing the locket in 1946 as well.
Anyways, what is up with everyone? Fitness, fun, and food?
I will swing by later for a catch-up. Here's to being halfway through the week, almost.
The photo is from the last clear day at camp, featuring Poppy the puppy who learned how to swim that day.
