Hello, lovelies, and Happy Thursday. Attached picture is Peña Castle in Sintra. If you saw the picture of the beach i posted on Tuesday’s PPals with a castle in the distance up on the rocks, it’s the same castle. We didn’t realise this at the time and were wondering how exactly one goes about going up to that structure. Well, now we know. Hint: it involves a lot of uphill and climbing steps.

We didn’t actually visit Peña cause we couldn’t get tickets but the nearby Moorish Castle did us well enough and we got the view of the castle as a bonus.

After getting nearly 30k steps yesterday, today we’re resting our legs and feet since the festival we’re here to attend starts this evening. We’re seeing Foo Fighters today (or possibly Nick Cave, i forgot the order and am too lazy to check). Anyway, we’ll go out for lunch and to do some grocery shopping and that’s it until the evening.

I’ll add more pictures once the family photographer wakes up. Mine didn’t come out very well yesterday.
