Escapism: I’ve been watching some World Cup games. Mexico has amazing speed. I haven’t seen Canada play yet. The US managed a win with only 10 players on the field. I ponder if post-colonial battles are fought on the soccer field. And current battles.
I read an article listing every team’s theme music for the World Cup. Every team has more than one song. They have a warm up, practice, goal, conclusion, and I don’t know what else. It was daunting.
Sharing two examples: New Zealand and the second song which like 5 teams are using, but I’ve never heard it. Yep, I’m clueless.

Exercise: My goal is to use the neighbor’s pool for an early morning swim which means Brian’s routine will be pushed back again.
Food: we had two marble-sized yellow tomatoes off of our plant. Figs are growing. Why cook?
It’s been one of the worst weeks I’ve had in a long time. The good news is that half of my medical gear has been approved and the clinic said they would keep trying for the other half. Also, the doctor said he would put in a referral for one of a handful of lymph clinics, but he couldn’t make promises.
