Hello, lovelies, and Happy Tuesday! How is everyone doing? Personally, i’m trying not to melt as today will be the worst of this heat wave. Trying to catch up on laundry after traveling this weekend so I can start packing for Portugal (leaving on Friday). Haven’t been working out or even walking much in this weather. This morning i walked to my nail appointment and that will have to be enough. I still have two days left for Strong&Fast andI’ll try to complete them before i leave for vacation but i’d prefer not dying.

Don’t think I ever said but we went to Bucharest to see Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, two bands that were all the rage when we were in highschool. Don’t know how familiar anyone here is with them, they’re very of their time and very specific to former emo adjacent kids. It was fun, very nostalgic. We also stopped to visit Adrian’s parents and now we’re pooped and trying to recover.

I started re reading The Count of Monte Cristi and enjoying all the antics and dramatic double crossings immensely. I’d love an adaptation that revels in the soap opera of it all rather than trying to make it all grim and dark.

Ok, that’s my update. No links today since I haven’t been online to gather them lately. I’ll try to do better next week.
