HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group June 9th

Good Tuesday morning!

It feels like this month is rushing by, already almost a third done. But there’s still plenty of time to make the most of it. Do you have a list of things you are hoping to do this month, like the bucket list above? I would like to go for a hike somewhere new. And I would like to stay out later on a warm evening. But gotta stay awake past 8:30pm for that 😂

So two big house projects are done: the deck out back and stone steps out front. We have three more to go in the next couple of weeks: move a downspout, add a section of fencing where the front staircase of our old deck used to be, and add new grass front. I’ll be glad when that’s all done, and so will our bank accounts.

I’ll start week 2 of our company’s Summer Shred challenge today. It’s an upper body strength workout. I love the simple structure of the workouts: straight up strength training, 3 to 4 sets of 10-12 reps, all exercises that I’m familiar with, and they last around 30 minutes, depending how long my breaks in between circuits are. And thanks to FB, I create my own warm-ups and cool downs. I could see myself returning to this challenge in the future.
