Happy Hump Day everyone!

Maybe for Lara and Alina, it is also the first of two Fridays this week, as tomorrow is a holiday here. A lot of people take the Friday off, so it will be nice and quiet then.

I didn't share some big news from last week.

On Friday, I received an email that my citizenship was approved!

It was the best birthday present ever. I will get it in a ceremony next Tuesday. There is still paperwork to be done, so I need to go two times that day. But by Tuesday evening, I will be a dual citizen. What a relief. Hopefully, the drama is over. I will go Wednesday morning to apply for my ID card and passport. Despite the ID card being a legal requirement, with your citizenship, you only get a piece of paper. I feel like they could at least give you the ID card as well.

I went to the gym this morning and did some stuff. It seems like they are really replacing a lot of equipment, which is surprising. The gym is not that old. Maybe there will be some new cool things to try. It is good I am going early, though, since the whole cardio area and the huge weight room are both closed. I hope it is done soon.

Dinner will be a surprise, but I know for sure we will enjoy a bottle of champagne we have saved for the citizenship moment.
