Fitness with brain injury

Hi guys,

I am 27 and I've had a serious cycling accident which left me with a brain injury when I was 10. I've done some fitness before, but last year I got married and feeling very overstimulated and I want to get back on track. I'm dealing with some limits here and there when I go through my day right now. (It hasn't been like this all the time). But now I can't bend down very well and moving my head the whole time is very hard. For example doing laundry. You have to bend down to pick up the clothes, then you have to fold it and put it in your closet. Those movements make me feel bad. So now I'm putting my laundry basket on a table, so I don't have to make all the turns. But it was just an example for you to understand what I mean.

I'm sure there are more people like me who are experiencing difficulties with their brain injury and fitness and I would like to know how you handle with this.

Love,

Jade
