HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group May 30th

Good next-to-last day in May! Sending everyone sunshine today, and cooler temperatures for those dealing with a heatwave.

We have a busy day ahead of us. After we go grocery shopping and run some errands, we’ll start removing everything from our back patio, for upcoming repairs on Monday or Tuesday. That means having to take apart the metal racking for the awning, which will be a real pain, but it has to be done. Not sure we’ll put it back up afterwards, as I’m not a fan of having a covered patio 100% of the time. We also have to mow the lawn in our backyard. Maybe that can wait until tomorrow morning. What have you planned for today?

It’s going to be sunny today, so the plan is to go for a nice walk this afternoon. I also want to complete one of the two workouts I have left from the Just Your Body challenge. I swapped a Daniel workout that I had done before and had not loved (3 rounds of the same core exercise is not fun), for another core workout.

It’s movie night and I still haven’t decided what we’ll watch. We’ll eat leftovers for supper. We tried a low-carb pizza crust recipe earlier this week, which basically wad just eggs with cheese. It was good, but it felt like we were eating the cheesy topping of a pizza as the pizza crust. Next time, I’ll try an actual low-carb pizza DOUGH recipe. What good foods will you be enjoying today?
