We’re past the excitement of getting started, but we’re not at the finish line yet. By now, the workouts are probably feeling more familiar, and you’re finding your rhythm and building consistency along the way.
One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that we’re usually the last person to recognize our own progress.
We spend a lot of time thinking about where we want to go next, what we still need to improve, or how far we still have to go. But we forget to give ourselves credit for the work we’ve already put in. That’s why this is a good time to pause and recognize the hard work you’ve done already.
Think back to Day 1. Now think about everything you’ve done since then. Every workout completed. Every day you showed up. Every time you chose to keep going when it would’ve been easier to skip it. That stuff matters, and I want to take a second to recognize that.
One of the things I appreciate most about this FB community is that all of you continue to show up even when life gets busy, motivation isn’t always there, or the workouts get challenging. That’s where real progress happens.
As we move closer to the end of the challenge, don’t get so focused on the finish line that you forget to appreciate what you have already accomplished. We’ve still got some work ahead of us, but today isn’t about looking ahead. It’s about taking a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come.
So tell me: what are you proud of from the last three weeks?
