For the past 10 years I have been learning how to move and strengthen my body through FitnessBlender content. In this time I've become knowledgable and confident enough to implement modifications that work for me - to make moves harder or easier.
So - now I am 3 weeks post breast lift. I'm so happy with my surgery but even more thrilled that I can easily find fitness content that is accessible in my phases of recovery. I've just started to be able to do lower body strength again. My most important modification? Lifting lighter weight, using bands, bodyweight only and LISTENING TO MY BODY. Any of these phrases sound familiar? :)
Thank you to all of the lovely trainers for my fitness education over the years. It has made such a difference in my quality of life.
