Day 3: Strong Starts at Your Core

Day 3! We’re officially at the halfway point of Strong & Sculpted 2.

Today we’re giving some of our bigger muscle groups a little break from the heavy lifting and turning our attention to the core, but we're not crunching it out the entire time.

We’ll be working on strength, stability, and control with movements like weighted windmills, loaded marches, and other exercises that ask your core to do what it’s actually designed to do: keep you strong and stable while the rest of your body moves around it.

Core Stability and Loaded Strength

The windmills in particular are one I want you to take your time with. Keep the weight manageable, move slowly, and only go as far as you can while maintaining control. You should feel your core working to keep you stable throughout the entire movement.

And that’s really the theme for today: control over speed. Some of these exercises might not look as intense as a heavy squat or press, but when you slow them down and really focus on positioning, they have a sneaky way of humbling you.

We’re halfway through the challenge, so give it all you've got and let’s get Day 3 done!
