HKS/PPals Friday April 10 ๐Ÿ—ฝ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“œ ๐Ÿ›ธ

Congrats! Youโ€™ve made it.

The emojis are what appeared when I entered new, old, and un in the search bar. Iโ€™m quite surprised and happy with them.

Iโ€™m gradually getting back into exercise. Itโ€™s interesting how long it takes to heal. I might accomplish Day 2 of step and sculpt. ๐Ÿ€

I revisited another Scott Westerfield (Uglies) book that Iโ€™ve read before. The Risen Empire published in 2003. I donโ€™t think I had seriously contemplated drone warfare when I first read it. Westfield is talking about micro drones millimeters in size. Even if you just read the free sample on Kindle, itโ€™s something to think about.

Catherine Addison also has a new book called the Angel of the Crows which is a paranormal Sherlock Holmes. I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s gonna go too dark for me.

Meals have been difficult this week because Iโ€™ve been too busy to cook. Tonight was some sourdough pasta with bison in a tomato sauce. It was probably the best meal all week.

Fun, if Iโ€™m lucky, I will make it to the Branigan Museum, puny, municipal museum, and see their exhibit about the Mescalero Apache. In research news thereโ€™s massive tribal politics happening and I may never get my site permission letter signed. Iโ€™m just going to trust to the universe and try not to stress. The person I was working with was fired. They donโ€™t know if theyโ€™re going to hire a replacement or re-organize their program structure. I am far down their list of interests. I still have several years of paying money to my school and staying enrolled and waiting. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Yes, most of my cohort members are graduating this May.

Fiction, food, fun, frenzy, furry friends, fronds (hah an f plant word), fitness, whatever. Please share.
