Hello Blendfriends, welcome to our Healthy, Kind Support post for today. Everyone is welcome to read and post here!
I'm up a little earlier than usual due to a nasty headache, but my favorite spinal stretches have got it mostly tamed. In case you were wondering, shoveling even for a couple minutes while bent over due to a (normal) short-handled shovel is to be avoided, it's like doing deadlifts over snow. I usually use an ergonomic shovel with a long handle -- shoveled for an hour Saturday with no trouble, but the little one in the back was my kryptonite. I don't know how tall people even survive! At any rate, a path is cleared to the shed and I got my seed starting pots and trays, so, mission accomplished.
So I thought I'd share with you a little comment by Terry Pratchett that sums up my Monday morning :
βWisdom comes from experience. Experience is often a result of lack of wisdom.β (Terry Pratchett)
And, as I said, a nice bout of mobility and stretches and I'm feeling much better. Today is my osteo visit, too. So it's going to get better from here. This said, I'm going to go back for a little sleep before I start my 'regular' day.
How about the rest of you lovely folks? Any favorite workouts on the calendar today? Favorite recipes? Wishing you all a gentle start to the week.
