HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group March 14th

Good Saturday morning! We had snow overnight so everything is white again. So goes March.

We’re almost at mid-month. How has March treated you so far? I’ve been really locked in on my nutrition and trying hard to hit my fibre and protein goals each day, while being in a calorie deficit. I will have a chocolate treat today to end the week. I am finding out that eating on plan all week and having a treat on Saturday is working well for me.

In terms of exercising, this has not been a great week, with only one workout complete. I was a weird mental space all week, feeling like everything is on hold. I was active each day though, either doing stretching workouts or walking, but it’s not the same as actual cardio or strength workouts. We’ll see what today will bring.

Do you have anything fun planned for today or the weekend? We might go to an event this afternoon in the old part of our city called Le Temps Des Sucres, which will be an ode to all things maple syrup and the sugaring season. Going to a sugar shack has become very expensive over the past few years, so that event is a good compromise. And they’ll have maple taffy on snow, which I haven’t had in years 😋
