Day 16: Showing Up Anyway

Hey Team,

This was me today. Sitting in the chair, music on, just trying to slow things down for a minute after recording Day 16.

Full Body Bodyweight HIIT with Low Impact Options

It was one of those long days. The kind where everything stacks up. Work, responsibilities, random things popping up that you didn’t plan for. By the time I finished recording and finally sat down, I felt it. Not just physically, but mentally too.

And honestly, even getting to the point of recording today wasn’t easy.

There was a moment earlier when I wasn’t feeling it at all. Low energy, a lot on my mind, and I could’ve easily pushed it off. Told myself I’d get to it later. But I’ve been here before, and I know how that goes. One delay turns into another, and suddenly you’re trying to restart instead of just staying consistent.

So I kept it simple. Didn’t overthink it. Just got started.

And once I got moving, things shifted. Not in some big dramatic way, but enough. Enough to lock in, get through the workout, and finish recording. That’s really what it comes down to. Not every day is going to feel great. Not every workout is going to feel strong. But showing up anyway is what keeps everything moving forward.

Day 16 is one of those workouts that’s going to challenge you, especially if you’re coming into it feeling a little off or low on energy. Just stay steady, focus on your movement, and keep going.

So I’m curious…

What do you do on days like this? When you’re tired, when life is a lot, and you don’t feel like showing up… do you push through or take the day?
