Good Saturday morning Blendfriends!

It will be a rainy day here, the perfect day to stay inside and read a good book, watch sports and catch up on series. A lot of snow will melt, but thankfully it will remain warm over the next few days, so sidewalks won’t turn into ice rinks.

I will complete day 2 of the Strong Runner challenge today, a core workout. I told myself that during days where there are two workouts to choose from, I will go with the one I haven’t done before, so it will be a short workout from Kayla. I previewed the workout and there are two moves that I definitely won’t be able to do: a reverse table top with leg kicks, and bird dogs from a bear crawl position. I’m fine with replacing them with other moves, but I find it mildly annoying that I have to.

If there’s a break in the rain at any point, we’ll go for a walk. If not, then I’ll use my walking pad. I have already walked more kilometres this month than all of last month. February was a dismal month for me, so I’m glad that I’m turning things around this month.

I’ve also been eating on plan all week, but my hydration has been hit or miss. We’ll be having leftovers today and for me, a day of no cooking is always a great day. What’s on the menu for you?

I forgot to mention that one early morning this week, when I took out Loki for his walk, I saw a deer running up our street towards us. He veered right at our street corner and went back into the fields that lie behind our area. We knew there are deers here, because they ate one of our bushes, but I had not seen one yet. It ventured pretty far to be out running on the main street. It looked so graceful and magnificent. And of course I did not have my phone to capture it. At least Loki was peeing and didn’t really see it, so we avoided a barking fit.

Wishing everyone a wonderful day 🙂
