Injured and can't lift weights

So I have a thoracic sprain and haven't been able to lift weights in a month. I'm not sure when I'l be able to again as I'm still healing and might have to go to PT.

I am very worried about losing my muscle mass. I am able to do bodyweight workouts, which I am still doing, but I can't lift or hold a weight as it flares up my back.

Any reassurance or ways to maintain muscle? I'm not sure if the bodyweight workouts are good enough for that.
