HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group March 3rd

Good Tuesday morning!

Long term forecast here calls for temperatures to reach +10°C/50°F sometime next week, and it has gotten me excited for spring to come. But even if temperatures remain colder, as long as there is sunlight, it’s all good. And with us turning our clocks forward this upcoming weekend, we’ll enjoy more daylight at the end of the day.

I read on the news yesterday that the province of British Columbia has chosen to permanently stay under Daylight Saving Time after they turn their clocks forward this Sunday. Many provinces and states have been talking about ending the twice yearly time change for years and years, but B.C. is finally doing something about it. They’re following the Yukon territory who did this back in 2020. It will be interesting to see if other provinces or states follow suit. I wouldn’t mind staying under DST. If you are in an area with a time change, would you rather stay under standard time or DST?

What will your Tuesday look like? Work will keep me busy, as I am helping to plan two district meetings and doing some online training. I’ll take a rest day before starting another 2-week challenge. David and I will go for walk after work, and thankfully it will be much warmer than yesterday. And he’ll be making supper tonight, after I took care of it yesterday, so I get a break from cooking.

Wishing everyone a great day 🙂
