Friday PPals 20 February πββοΈπ½ππ§πΌπ₯Ύπͺ°
Hello sweet peas, and welcome to Friday.
I have some kale in the fridge but it's turning yellow. Does anyone else remember a time without kale? I think it was invented in the late 90s as an ornamental plant for winter gardens, but only became widely available for non-yuppie kitchens in the last 10 years or so. Frying things in coconut oil wasn't a thing until 2013 or so either. However did we eat?
Warm night tonight, and I'm not hungry at all. If it cools down I will suddenly find myself starving. I find that I have completely different dietary habits in summer v winter. Does this happen to you guys? I don't remember it being much of an issue in Seattle, but the weather is very different there.
I skipped my workout today, muscles are too tight and achy. I tried to combine errands a couple days ago - instead of making 2 trips, I made 1 giant trip, ended up with way too heavy of a backpack, real sore muscles, and the added bonus of dehydrated and sunburnt. Unfortunately I have more errands to do. This would be a lot easier with a car. The route is not bike friendly. Instead of doing them tonight, I decided to finish my book. Gave it 5 stars. I hadn't had a 5 star read in a long time, and was beginning to wonder if maybe I just didn't like reading anymore. So that was exciting.
Half drive-by (cycle-by?) from me, because it's late and I forgot it was my turn to start the thread, and so did not plan anything to say. Maybe you have more to say than me. If so, come chat. If not, come chat anyway. If you want to.
