Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on these message boards. I hope you are doing well and gettting in those #workoutcompletes!
I'm in a chapter where I need to focus on strengthening my lower back and hip flexors. I am recovering from imbalances after an injury in 2023, and while I am making progress, I am finding that moving up in weights is tough. I don't have enough grip strength to hold heavier dumbbells, and my lower back gets strained quite easily and puts me out of commiission for a few days. My job requires me to sit most of the day so my hip flexors suffer. I do have a standing desk but if I stand too long, my lower back suffers.
I would love to be pointed in the right direction to a workout program or videos to address these specific issues. I am hopeful about my progress, as I am finally able to jump substantially again. It has been a journey.
