New Plus Workout! Core Strength and Conditioning

Hey Team!

If you’ve been wanting a workout that really focuses on your core, this is it. No random add-ons, no rushing through reps. Just solid core work from start to finish.

Core Strength and Conditioning

What I like about this one is the mix. We start with some loaded dumbbell movements, move into stability work, and finish with a short conditioning piece. It’s not about chasing a crazy burn. It’s about putting your core under different types of stress and seeing how it holds up.

The first block is where you’ll feel that slower, strength-focused work. Movements like dead bugs and half-kneeling windmills don’t look flashy, but they demand focus. You’ll probably notice right away if one side feels less steady than the other. That’s normal. That’s useful feedback.

Then we shift into stability work that forces you to resist rotation and stay square. This is the kind of core strength that carries over to everything else, lifting, running, even just moving through your day.

The conditioning block picks things up a bit. Your heart rate climbs, your core has to work while you’re breathing harder, and that’s where you really see what you’ve built earlier in the workout.

I’d treat this one like practice. Slow where it needs to be slow. Steady when it needs to be steady. And when it’s time to move, move.

Where does core training usually fit into your week as a finisher, its own day, or mixed into everything else?
