HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group February 9th
Hello Blendfriends! Quick check-in before I head out to the office. I'm still sore from somewhat inadvertently stacking two leg days in a row because I wanted to do some Pilates, and I've got a long day (work + volunteer meeting afterwards) so I'll take an active rest day for now. There will, of course be all those stairs at work :D
This is not the first time that I've utterly burned out my muscles without intending to, the last time was a comprehensive UB workout followed by 4 hours of kayaking. Ahh, kayaking. Well, at -20C that's not happening any time soon, but in honor of warm thoughts for cold days, I will leave you with a seasonal quote from Camus:
“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”
