Happy Sunday Ppals!
Introducing Tina and Milo. They are the mascots of the 2026 Olympics and Para Olympics.
Saturday it was cold so it was the perfect day to stay inside and watch the Olympics.
I also finished reading The Frozen People the first in a new series by Elly Griffins, about a Ali, a detective who solves cases so cold that they are frozen. In the first book Ali travels back to Victorian times to solve a case.
While I was watching the Olympics I did a walking working with Kelli. Which means I wasn't fully paying attention to either activity however I was moving,
I have been thinking that since the days have been short and cold I should do a walking workout most days along with another workout to make up for lack of movement. So far I haven't gotten further than thinking about it.
I found a new recipe for over night oats. Mix 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt and 1/2 of oats Then chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours. I used coffee yoghurt and topped it off with fresh fruit. Its my new favorite afternoon snack.
I hope you are all having a great weekend! Have you tried any new recipes? Read any good books? Please share.
PS I don't really consider the overnight oats I made following a recipe. I had read about adding yoghurt and wanted to try it but I needed to look how much to use. It came out nice and creamy.
I got a little crazy with the emogis. They kept on disappearing on my phone so I kept on adding more only to find out they were all there when I hit save. 🥶🥶🥶
