Any recommendation which exercise shoes for someone with plantar fasciitis?
And what do we call the type of Fitness Blender exercise? I do different programs such as FB30, FB strong, FB elevate, programs from Nicole, Tasya, Erica.
I have PF, it's bad until causing heel pain during prolong walking. I went for physiotherapy and brought my exercise shoes to the therapist. As I suspected the PF caused by the shoes, it doesn't have good support. I'm not expert in shoes, I usually bought training shoes thinking it was enough.
I went to a specialist running shoes store, told my problem and my exercise style. The staff recommended to have 2 different shoes, one for weight (lunges, RDL, etc), and one for HIIT (burpees, lateral jump etc). I only have budget to buy 1 pair, and he recommended ON cloud x 4. To be honest I'm clueless of all these types of shoes and trusted the recommendation. I continued the exercise (with my therapist's green light) with low impact with the new shoes. The pain was back. I was wondering if it's the shoes?
I went to another specialist sport shoes which is an old fashioned store and a lot of good reviews from buyers, saying the shop owner understands foot pain and often referred by podiatrist. I told him my exercise style and what I wanted from the shoes. He recommended to get Brooks Ghost 17. He also said the ON could x4 is not suitable for someone with PF. I haven't buy Brooks yet because I wanted to be careful this time. I checked online reviews about this shoes, it's a mixed but mostly said not a well rounded shoes, more a casual exercise. I wonder if I didn't describe my exercise style correctly? I told them now I focus more on weight lift and not so much on HIIT because I don't have the energy to do it. I have lesser energy than 10 years ago when I started working out.
