Weekend Workout Rewind ⏪

Have you had a chance to try Kayla’s Daily Stretches for Mobility and Better Movement routine?

This bodyweight-only, no equipment needed workout includes Kayla’s personal collection of daily stretches to work on mobility. It checks off so many boxes - stiffness, stress, aching back, tight hips, lack of personal time, foggy brain, and the list goes on. The fluidity in the routine - from standing to sitting, kneeling, and lunging - ensures that your body remains on the move despite the low intensity of the workout itself. 

This workout can be used in a variety of ways. First, tune in during an Active Recovery Day when your body isn’t ready for higher intensity work. Or, apply this as a pre-workout or post-workout routine, depending on your body’s needs. For cooldowns, feel free to increase the duration of each stretch. 

Almost everyone can join in, and Kayla offers suggestions to modify kneeling poses. Throughout the video, she offers cues to attend to your breathing rhythm as this serves to deepen each stretch. Hopefully this sequence brings you some relief to your stiff, unhappy muscles.
