Hey again all you fantabulous blenderbuddies, another day with me as your 👻. I was going to be all knowledgable and talk about a palindrome as I thought today was 26/1/26…. Guess what? Nope, date is only 25th not 26th. Duh, Lea, wake up! What about you? I know lots of you are not awake yet, but when you are: What’s happening in your corner of the world? Anything exciting or just another lovely normal day?
After yesterday’s super cold and wet volunteering day, I am ready for a day inside… well, not really, you know me, can’t sit still for long! And when I say “cold” I don’t mean some of those minus temperatures some of you are having, I mean the bone-cold or water-cold variety: you feel the cold in your bones, you’re wet through, the wind blowing through all your five layers of clothing and even your bones feel cold even though the temp is plus 5 degrees C. Do you get that kind of cold? Or is yours a nice nippy and dry cold? I know there’s lots of snow coming down at Karen’s right now. But…Enough about the weather and cold, let’s focus on, yes, you guessed it, FB’s checkin.
Workouts: yes/no/maybe?! I’m supposed to be playing pickleball today but the weather is pretty horrendous again. So it will probably not happen. If it doesn’t I might do some cardio workout on here, preferably a Nicole or Erica one. Any recommendations? Nothing too long though. But we here to hear about your workouts or non workouts: tell me what’s going on in your house today? Any new programmes or challenges being finished or started today?
Food: yesterday we had leftovers from the day before, so I told hubs I will cook today. But what?! Please provide me with an answer! Or just let me know what’s going to be on your plate today and I might copy one of your ideas…
Photo: what do you think is in that magnificent tree? It was one of our jobs yesterday. I got frozen to the bone holding on to a rope to keep that “guess what it is” in place while two others ankered it to the tree. My oh my, was it cold! But the result was worth it, well, I think so. I will let you know the answer some time, not sure when though🤣🤣🤣🤣 BTW that tree was several meters in circumference, so very, very big! That “guess what it it” is a meter tall….
