Supplements and when to take them

Hello! Midlife Woman with HRT here. I'm adding amino acids, beet powder, and glutamine to my supplements. I'm already doing creatine.

I usually workout first thing in the morning while fasting.

Question: When should I take the workout supplements? Pre or post workout? Does it break my fast? If it does, is it worth it to get energy for a better workout?

Appreciate any insight to those that have incorporated these things too.
