HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group January 10th
Good Saturday morning! We are finally in the double digits in January. As usual, this month seems to be dragging on, compared to how December just rushed by.
We’re just above the freezing point at the moment here, and we had lots of rain yesterday, which is not normal for this time of year. Temperatures will go back down and we may get another 10cm of snow overnight. If we have snow on the ground tomorrow, I’ll try my hand at shovelling a bit, to see how my back fares.
What have you planned for today? We’ll go grocery shopping early and then I want to tackle a project downstairs, which is to organize the tools that were left by the previous owner and install the doors in front of that storage space. They had taken them down, but I think it would be nice to put them back up, to close up that space and make it look neater.
Will this be a rest day for you or will you be exercising? I will continue the You Against You challenge. And I want to go for a longer walk, to make up for some of the days where David and I missed out.
And what is on your menu today? I’ll be having the remaining veggie burger from earlier this week, with some fries. We try to have leftovers on Saturdays, to give us a break from major cooking, but someone did not make supper yesterday (hint: it wasn’t my turn to cook), so we will have to cook something tonight.
I know some of us are facing difficulties at the moment, whether they be physical, mental, work-related, or of another nature. I know everyone is doing their best under the circumstances handed to them. And that’s all we can do.
