Daily Check-in ANG: Wednesday, January 7th

Happy Wednesday, my dears! Since I wowed you all with my random fact about the Hiltons and birdwatching in the tiny town of San Antonio, New Mexico (which left Lea hungering for more! 😆), I thought I’d thrill you again today!

I’m sure you all have heard about the benefits of hugs: boosts the feel-good hormones, lowers stress hormones, increases feelings of connection. But not everyone likes being hugged, and according to omniscient Google🙄, this is totally normal! It could be due to your upbringing, past trauma, sensory issues, or even hormone fluctuations due to menopause! I know a few of you here don’t particularly like to be hugged or touched. I used to looooove physical affection…not so much anymore since menopause hit. I really don’t care to be hugged anymore. That meme? 👆 Me. (Although if we ever meet in person, I will probably still ask to hug you. It will just be brief 🤪)

Have any of you gone from liking hugs to *not*? Or from hating them to thinking that maybe they’re not so bad?

Sheesh, that was a ramble! Before I get fired as co-host, let’s talk about workouts and food!
