HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group January 3rd
Good first Saturday of 2026!
What are your plans for today? Anything fun happening? Some good food to be had? Maybe some movement as well?
Today, we’ll get the grocery shopping done early and then do some housecleaning when we get back. We’ll take down part of our Christmas decorations afterwards, or maybe all of them, if we have enough energy and patience. Then we’ll watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy, or make it as far as we can. It’s our tradition to watch it on New Year’s Day, but David was working.
For movement, we’ll go for a walk outside, as temperatures have risen a bit and it’s more comfortable out. I’ve been cooped up inside for the past 2 days and I need some fresh air. I will attempt the last workout of the Blend 2-week trial challenge, a core workout. The last 2 workouts have left me feeling sore, which is good, but I should’ve taken a Tylenol before going to bed last night, because the pain disrupted my sleep.
As you can maybe guess from the quote above, we’ll be having pasta for supper, penne arrabbiata to be precise. I’ve been eating on plan since the start of the year (a whole 2 days!) and I feel much better already, after indulging during the Holidays.
