Hello Blendfriends! I'm starting the thread Sunday night because there are warnings that we might not have power Monday. The forecast calls for freezing rain, which is tough on the grid. Will I awaken finding my house is an ice-encased fortress of solitude? I kind of hope not. But we've prepared just in case, for example I cooked up a nice batch of chili 🌶️ & cornbread -- if we're using the camp stove by suppertime, it will be easy to reheat.
Today's thought is about kindness that warms our heart, regardless of the weather -- something I always find in this thread ❤️
On to workouts. If power is on I think I'll be doing a basic strength workout; Nicole and Brian have some nice mild ones that I've favorited. I'm not sure what program I'll do next. I was so enthusiastic about doing strength again, but my shoulder's been fragile since the end of Shift, so I'll have to be careful. I saw a recommendation for functionally fit in the community recently, and then over on the Pals thread yesterday, so I might check that out. Or the upcoming team program. So many options!
